THE FACE BEHIND IT ALL

Hi, I'm Krystle Alves, I'm a yoga teacher, nutritionist and naturopath.
My passion for health and wellbeing started through my own personal health struggle.
At sixteen my struggles with chronic fatigue syndrome started, I spent years in and out of specialist appointments, missing out on my last few years of high school and then constantly falling ill with infections.
At it's peak I was having antibiotic injections daily (the tablets weren't working) and vitamin injections weekly, I was diagnosed with 3 chronic illnesses and my body had given up on basic functions like growing hair.
Instead of being a vibrant thriving woman I struggled to get out of bed to complete the most basic of life's tasks.
After 2 and a half years of struggling with my health I decided I was going to commit myself to learning about health and wellness and so I started by reading and making small changes every day.
Slowly with these changes I got better, my energy improved and I started feeling 'normal' again.
I knew I had to take on study to further my healing and knowledge and so I took on formal studies in nutrition, western herbal medicine, and other complimentary modalities. I completed a bachelor of health science and while undertaking these studies I started yoga.
What I thought was going to be a learning for my own personal use became a huge passion and I travelled the world studying with international leading teachers and authors. I spent time learning and developing my own regular practice and soon enough I was being asked to support other people who were struggling.
I've spend the last 7 years running my own yoga studio and natural wellness clinic in Sydney where I have supported thousands of people seeking better health and wellbeing.
My work goes beyond moving well, beyond eating well and beyond just positive thinking. I believe you're here for a purpose, and to fulfil that purpose you need a vibrant body and mind.
