Hiya, thanks for visiting!
Krystle is a yoga therapist, nutritionist and naturopath. She has run her own yoga studio - Yoga In Motion in Sydney for the last 7 years.
She's taught tens of thousands of yoga classes to those struggling with all sorts of health issues and imbalances, her primary focus is the application of yoga tools for bringing about more balance to body and mind, she appreciates that no two bodies are the same and supports clients with a host of pain points including things like, back pain, arthritis, anxiety, panic attacks and much more.
One of her biggest passions is teaching her students how to adapt the tools of yoga to meet them where they are right now. Customising each session, and moving beyond just the physical postures to include yoga philosophy, breathing and diet wherever it's needed.
Her own healing journey started when she was just sixteen, after contracting glandular fever her immune system took a massive dive and she struggled with Chronic fatigue syndrome for well over 2 years.
At its worst she was diagnosed with 3 chronic illnesses, was getting antibiotic injections daily and vitamin injections weekly, to combat the severe infections her body was struggling to fight off.
She went from a vibrant healthy teenager to missing two thirds of her last two years of high school, shortly after completing her HSC her illness hit it's peak and she realised that there was nothing that the medical specialists could do to help her.
After over two years of chronic debilitating illness she decided she was going to undertake studies in health and wellness so that she could try and bring herself back to some form of health.
What started off as reading books, turned into a Bachelor of Health Science, an Advanced diploma in Naturopathy. A Diploma in nutrition, an Advanced diploma in Western herbal medicine and after a short time in clinical practice as a Naturopath she found yoga.
Yoga changed everything, it was through her practice that she realised the power of the mind and its influence over health and it's ability to help heal old traumas and anxieties. This sparked the next 6 years of travel and study with several renowned authors and teachers in yoga, meditation, and yoga therapy.
Most recently she's moved to the Blue Mountains where she's dedicating her time to writing a book on overcoming trauma and running an online yoga and wellness platform so that she can continue to support her community through all of the challenges that life throws at them in a balanced, healthy and strong way.
